Heather View 3 star; this is a three bedroomed cottage set in the village of Threlkeld, near Keswick, in the northern Lake District, situated at the foot of Blencathra Fell, which is very popular with fell walkers.

Heather View is ideally located for those looking for a picturesque base in which to explore the northern fells. It is a beautiful, scenic part of the Lake District. There is much to do in the area including walking, cycling and water sports in addition to many interesting places to visit.

The market town of Keswick is 5 minutes drive away and has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants, and entertainment including a leisure pool, cinema and theatre. Also Keswick golf club is just a 5 minutes walk away.

Short breaks available from January 2010.

The cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults in 3 bedrooms.

Cosy lounge with ample seating, TV, DVD & radio, open fire and views towards Blencathra.
Dining room with large table a seating for 6 people.
Kitchen with electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment.

Bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and basin.
2 Double bedrooms one with ensuite.
1 twin bedroom
All heating and bed linen is included.

The accommodation is heated by night storage heaters.

There is a cot and high chair available.

There is a seperate utility room with washer, dryer and large sink, you can also store your bikes in here.

The cottage has off road private parking for upto 4 cars

there is seating area outside in the garden.

An access statement is available upon request.

Guests are able to enjoy the peaceful garden in which the cottage is set and take in the great views of Blencathra and St Johns in the Vale. There is easy access straight onto the fells.

Threlkeld is a small village just outside Keswick, it has 2 pubs which both serve excellent food, there is a post office and a small newsagents.

More Information and Booking of all our Holiday Cottages

Bookings at our holiday cottages will be Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday (Heather View) Short breaks are available through the winter from November.

A deposit of £100.00 per week is required with your booking form, the remainder will be due 6 weeks before your holiday with a £100.00  good housekeeping bond (we do not cash this cheque, it will be returned to you after your holiday).
